I really like split complementary, tetrad, and analogous.
-Rule of Thirds- A concept with a nine square grid that are guide lines for photos.
-Double Exposure- The use of two pictures that are combined to a point, but both are still visible to an extent. -Sepia- An addition to a black and white photo to make it seem more pleasant. -Black and White- The manipulation of a photo to make it seem to only be two colors, black and white. -Boat-n-hand- An optical illusion that the photographer uses to make it look like the photo was taken from a certain perspective. -Silhouette- A picture that has a main focus(a person, animal, or object) that is usually black while the outside of the picture is not black.
I find the element of space and perspective really interesting, therefore think that would be my favorite I believe. I think that it makes you look at the picture in a whole new way, as if you were a part of the painting itself, which I think is an amazing thing to have in a painting.
Although my favorite principle would have to be rhythm and movement. I love looking at a piece of art and it is as it goes together fluently.
